3 Delicious Ways to Celebrate National Toasted Marshmallow Day

This coming Sabbatum (Baronial 30th) is national toasted marshmallow day. And to celebrate, I thought I would put together a few DIY ways to apply toasted marshmallows that are 1) super easy and 2) super delicious.

I made all of these over the weekend and y'all better believe that I taste tested each one to make sure they were expert enough to post. It was in the name of research, I swear.

Here are iii ways to enjoy toasted marshmallows…

1. Mini Waffle Sandwiches

Oh, man. These are corrupt. All you need are a few mini belgium waffles or liege waffles, which are a little scrap sweeter, and some colossal toasted marshmallows. Stack them together and you have a waffle sandwich. The marshmallow kind of acts like a replacement for traditional whip cream. You can even add syrup and fresh fruit on top if you're feeling crazy.It's non exactly a sandwich at that point, but it sure sounds proficient.

two. Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream Topping

Add some warm, toasty mini marshmallows to ice cream (or fifty-fifty a milkshake). I paired mine with huckleberry ice cream, but chocolate or coffee ice cream would be delicious too.

3. Macaron and Marshmallow Sandwiches

Okay, I don't know if I even demand to say any affair more than about these other than yum! This was my favorite of the three. And I didn't even have to make my own macarons! I used shop-boughts ones (which I bought from Whole Foods).

All you need to practice is toast up some marshmallows (I cut a jumbo marshmallow into fourths and used one piece per macaron), gently pull the macarons apart, and add the toasted marshmallow. My accented favorite season to effort this with is pistachio. It's SO skilful, but caramel, chocolate, vanilla, and pretty much any other flavor you tin can call back of will work too. You kind of can't go wrong. FYI – I left the filling in these fiddling sandwiches, but if you don't desire to, you tin can easily chip if off with a knife.
